I’m having an ‘I don’t wanna’ day.
5:30am: I don’t wanna get out of bed.
5:45am: I don’t wanna get out of bed!
6:15am: (Shivering) I don’t wanna get out of the shower….
6:35am: I don’t wuuuunna take my slippers off!
As the morning went on my I-don’t-wanna’s got higher pitched and dragged out longer. Luckily, not long after Zack managed to pry me out of bed he left for work. The only one left to listen to my whining was the dog. And I don’t think he minded, he was just happy I was talking to him.
Zack and I have been talking about being healthier for a while now. I’m going to kick coffee (gasp), eat healthier, and get some friggin’ exercise. This morning I decided to start my ‘no coffee’. Ok, so I ran out of creamer and didn’t have time to go to Starbucks on my way to work as a result of my ‘I-don’t-wanna’ feet dragging. But still, I decided to make the best of it and make some chamomile tea. I really wanted to make green tea but the only thing I had in my cupboard was sleepytime and chamomile… so chamomile it was!
On my way to work I almost feel asleep at the wheel. But the time I got to work I was crabbier that ever and moaning to Zack over the phone about how ‘I don’t wanna give up coffee!’
Fast forward 1 hour. Two cups of coffee in and I’m ready to go. Out of bed, out of the shower, slippers off, ready to go.
Ok, maybe I’ll start small. Eat healthy and exercise, that sounds good.
I don’t wanna exercise!
